Getting a call from a debt collector can be stressful. But it can be downright frightening when the caller uses lies, profanity and threats to try to get you to pay.

From time to time, yes, it is right- not just right but absolutely critical- to question the justice system - to analyze its fairness, to discover its biases, to uncover its failures, and to write laws to make corrections. THAT is the real reason we have the greatest system in the world- and why we can keep having faith in its blindness- but how quickly some have forgetten history. We didn’t just wake up one day and it was all fixed, from internment camps to civil rights to landlord/tenant to sentencing guidelines. That scrutiny can not and should not ever stop.
