This crash was on a "flightseeing" flight arranged for passengers on a HOLLAND AMERICA CRUISE SHIP which was stopped in Ketchikan. This is unfortunately a repeating occurrence. Our firm has represented multiple individuals and families who have been injured or have lost loved ones on "flightseeing" excursions off Holland America Cruise ships. Local float plane operators take unreasonable risks and fly in dangerous weather conditions, often under time restraints, so that cruise lines can profit off of selling these shore excursions.
