Stacie attended the Woman of the Year event at her alma mater this week. As a former president of the WLC, she thinks it is important to support womxn in all areas of leadership. Seattle University School of Law and the Womxn’s Law Caucus honored Judge Janet Chung with the 2023 Woman of the Year award.
The Womxn’s Law Caucus also presented two student scholarships: the Womxn’s Law Caucus Kellye Testy Scholarship to Katelyn Kelel, Class of 2024; and the Womxn’s Law Caucus and Black Law Students Association G. Helen Whitener Scholarship to Meralina Morales, Class of 2024.

Our final staff member in our Meet the Team series is our second legal intern, Gabrielle! Gabrielle is a second-year law student at Seattle University School of Law. Family law has interested Gabrielle from the beginning of her legal studies and she enjoys being able to make a difference in the lives of families in our community. Outside of work, Gabrielle loves spending time with her friends and family. We are so thankful to have Gabrielle on our team!

The next staff member in our Meet the Team series is one of our two legal interns, Celia! Celia is a third-year law student at Seattle University School of Law. In addition to her studies, Celia prepares court documents, meets with clients, and conducts legal research. Celia enjoys the unique skillset family law requires and learns something new with every case. In her free time, Celia is an avid movie-watcher. We are so thankful for the exemplary work Celia does for Sound Family Law!

The next staff member in our Meet the Team series is our lovely legal assistant, Bailey! Bailey has been working at Sound Family Law for about three years. One of the many skills she brings to our team is the compassion she has for our clients, both current and new. Bailey is a positive light in our office, and we are so grateful to have her!
Outside of work, Bailey enjoys reading and spending time with her pets. We appreciate you, Bailey!

Meet the team at Sound Family Law! Our first staff member we'd like to highlight is our incredible Partner and Founder, Stacie!

Stacie has a gift for being a calm yet tenacious advocate for clients in stressful situations. Lately, Stacie has taken on Guardian ad Litem cases where she investigates the best interest of the child in high-conflict separations. She has enjoyed learning this new skillset alongside her standard family law work.
