Happy May Day! This morning, I had the opportunity to reaffirm my oath to the Constitutions of Washington State and the United States. No one is above the law, and no one should be able to bully or influence the judiciary into silence or acquiescence. It was an honor to take part in this ceremony, led by King County Superior Court Judge Veronica Galvin in partnership with the .

Today and always, we also stand in solidarity with workers and disenfranchised communities. Too many vulnerable people are bearing the consequences of decisions made by a powerful few. We must—and we will—fight for the people.

A powerful theme of Viva La Mujer, a mariachi band, inspiring awards and speeches, topped off with a dope dance party to the beats of . And a lotta money raised to serve communities who need it. A couple of weeks ago we held our annual gala, and I can’t tell you how much energy and time and love goes into putting on an event like that. I told everybody during my speech that it felt like we’re putting on a wedding every year, committing ourselves to many many more years together. I had the honor of celebrating some incredible people and sharing my vision for this organization. I want to serve more community members than ever and give away more money than ever. I Want to give my members some high-quality programming (more salsa 💃 ) and become more inclusive for all people to join our cause. Leading an organization like this is a privilege, and I promise to give it all the love I’ve got. - Andre

Here I am Having fun at my job, fighting the man and injustice. It brings a smile to my face when I get a W for our clients. Today I got one! I was feeling very extra after court so I took these snaps and ate some breakfast tacos 🌮. It’s been 5 years since dayani law firm has been a thing. 5!!! I remember having a single client. I was broke as $hit, sleeping in my office, and I didn’t know if I actually could start my own thing. I still was waiting to hear back from other firms that I applied to. I felt defeated. Then one day I said f*ck it, retracted my applications, and went all in on me. A couple years later I recruited L. And Now we’re still here!! we’ve got lots of clients. Life is infinite possibilities.
