My co-counsel, Cathy Gormley, and I are so pleased that our client was found not guilty by reason of insanity! For years, he was tormented by delusions and hallucinations that literally ruined his life. Now he is finally well medicated and stable. If our society had a working safety net for the severely mentally ill, this tragedy could’ve been avoided.

A King County man charged with stabbing a stranger to death in downtown Seattle in 2023 was found not guilty by reason of insanity last week.
