🏠🥂SOLD IN NORMANDY PARK!
Another sale of the heart. We had the privilege of working with this seller during a major life transition from her large family home to a condo with a water view. Over about a year, we worked with her and her family to prepare her home for sale and were rewarded with wonderful friendships. Real estate isn't easy these days but the rewards are definitely worth it. Congratulations Judi!🎉

There's a reason images like this one still stop me in my scroll every single time.

Look at that roofline. A single cantilevered plane, floating over the patio with almost no visible support, serving as both a shade structure and a sculpture. Then the boulders left exactly where they landed, not cleared for the build but built around — the house negotiating with the mountain instead of arguing with it. Board-formed stone, vertical wood siding, glass that disappears the wall between inside and out. This is Palm Springs modernism at its most confident: nothing decorative, everything doing a job.

As someone who spends my days in real estate, I look at homes like this a little differently now. That "less is more" restraint isn't just an aesthetic — it's often what ages the best. Clean lines don't go out of style the way trends do. Indoor-outdoor flow isn't a buzzword in these homes, it's the whole design thesis. And a home that responds to its site, rather than bulldozing it, usually retains its character (and its value) for decades.
