Whether you want a quick family outing or a full Saturday destination, these five fall festivals and pumpkin patches are worth saving.

Start with MacDonald’s Ranch in North Scottsdale for a classic desert-ranch experience with a pumpkin patch, petting zoo, hay-bale maze, lawn games, and western ranch vibes MacDonald's Ranch

Vertuccio Farms in Mesa is perfect when you want a little more action, with corn mazes, giant slides, barrel train rides, and farm animals Angela Vertuccio

For the full fall experience, head to Schnepf Farms in Queen Creek for a 10-acre corn maze, pumpkin patch, pig races, amusement rides, and its annual Pumpkin and Chili Party Schnepf Farms
