n Scottsdale for the last 30 years. A Certified Legal Document Preparer is defined under Arizona Supreme Court’s Rule 31, and the Arizona Code of Judicial Administration § 7-201 and § 7-208. Certification is difficult and strict guidelines and continuing education are required to keep one’s certification. Once certified, a Legal Document Preparer is not required to work under the supervision of an attorney, but is instead bound by the rules, laws, and direction of the Arizona Supreme Court. Fees charged by Certified Legal Document Preparers generally are more affordable than if one uses the services of an Attorney. However, Certified Legal Document Preparers cannot provide any legal advice or opinions.
