Recently, our partner, Dennis Keene, was asked to assist in the lobbying efforts of the Georgia and American Trucking Associations on the national scene and traveled last week to Washington, DC, with a small delegation of Georgia Trucking Association members to meet with various legislators to promote pending federal tort reform resolutions and bills. Meetings were conducted with a total of 11 members of Congress and the Senate and their staff.
