Former Icard Merrill shareholder Charlie Bartlett received an Honorary Membership for his distinguished service to the legal community at the Judge John M. Scheb American Inn of Court’s 35th Anniversary Celebration. During his more than 40 years in legal practice, Charlie handled complex business and commercial litigation matters and was a role model of integrity. Charlie remains a well respected member of the Sarasota community. Icard Merrill shareholder Alyssa Nohren presented Charlie with the honor and many attorneys from the firm were present to congratulate Charlie on this honorable recognition.

Our firm was a proud sponsor of the Annual Jack Byers Golf Tournament, benefitting Teen Court, a nonprofit organization that helps at-risk kids ages 8-18. Money raised contributes to making the community safer by reducing juvenile delinquency. Participants become engaged in activities tailored to confront the many challenges facing youths. The philosophical framework of services is to offer educational classes and intervention services that unquestionably transform the lives of young people.

By providing young people with ways they can make positive change in their lives, they become active participants in finding solutions for problems that impact their community.

It’s just one of the ways in which we give back to our community.
