There are 3 people involved here: the seller, the buyer and the bank. When interest rates are low, the bank makes less money and buyers and sellers win.

When the interest rates are high, it means the mortgage payments are higher for the buyer. That means either the buyer has to pay more per month or seller has to reduce their price.

This is why interest rates affect the values of homes.

Will this interest rate spike cause house prices to drop? Not completely. But whereas homes that have had 15 offers on opening weekend will get more like 8-10.

Tattoos on your home are shadows of the history you made there. What’s the story of your home?
If you left tattoos on your home what would they say? Would they reflect the memories you made there? Or would they be markers of your personal growth? Would they just be scars from hard times?
Nothing is forever, and for the younger generations and especially young military families housing is no exception. Home ownership is a dream and like most dreams you go through it really quickly.
This particular home, I am glad to say was a haven of great times, financial reward, the launch pad for a successful partnership and the foundation for a new and wonderful human to enter the world.
Alex and Aimee bought this house a few years ago while still Active Duty. Made a transition to civilian life, built a YouTube channel, and made a great life here. The time came to let it go and move on to the next chapter of their story.

This real estate market has been an absolute elevator ride and everyone wants to know when we’re at the top floor.
The notion of “top floor” signals to sellers that if they sell right now they will have gotten the highest % gains and not left anything on the table. Sounds great right??
