Sonoma County Bar Association Appoints Alfredo Hernández as New Executive Director
Santa Rosa, California – The Sonoma County Bar Association is pleased to announce the appointment of Alfredo Hernández as its new Executive Director, effective 3/16/26.
Hernández brings more than 10 years of non-profit experience to the role, having served in various capacities including most recently as Executive Director of Friends of Alemany Farm and the Hollywood Media District Business Improvement District. Prior to that, he spent 2 years at the Afriat Consulting Group Inc., a boutique lobbying firm in Los Angeles.
"Alfredo's extensive background in non-profit management and his proven track record of success make him the ideal candidate to lead the Sonoma County Bar Association into the future," said Teresa Norton, President of the Sonoma County Bar Association. "We are confident that his leadership and expertise will be invaluable as we continue to serve our members and the broader legal community."
In his new role, Hernández will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Sonoma County Bar Association, including member engagement, event planning, and advocacy efforts.
"I am eager to join the Sonoma County Bar Association and help the organization expand its reach and impact within the legal community," said Hernández. "By fostering new partnerships and innovative programming, I'm confident we can elevate the bar association's role as a vital resource and advocate for legal professionals in Sonoma County and beyond."
