GeoDisclosure

GeoDisclosure GeoDisclosure has been the premier Natural Hazard Disclosure company for the Central Coast - Santa Cruz and Monterey Counties - for the last 24 years!

Chris Gordon founded GeoDisclosure in 2000 in response to a need for a local disclosure service. A California native, he has lived in Santa Cruz County since 1992 and studied geology at UCSC, graduating with a degree in Earth Sciences in 1995. Since its founding, GeoDisclosure has created thousands of GeoDisclosure NHD Reports for the Realtors of Santa Cruz County and has carried out hundreds of o

n-site property visits. This extensive understanding of the complex geology and local disclosure requirements of Santa Cruz County results in better reports, more reliable reports, and reports that are truly cost-effective.

Our hearts go out to the people who have lost their homes to the horrendous fires now taking place in Southern California. The Central Coast is also vulnerable to these fast spreading wildfires during this warm, dry and windy period. Any one living in the mountains please take the time to prepare. This includes:

- Making a list of valuables and their location for quick evacuation.

- Create a "Go bag" of essential items like medications, copies of important documents and clothing to get you through a couple of days at least.

I hope that we don't need to use these preparations, but based on my personal experience with the CZU fire, they helped tremendously.
