TPS - El Salvador. La administración a indicado que hoy no cancelaran TPS. Que tomaran la decision y sera anunciada en el tiempo apropriado. Estamos en el aire todavia.
The Trump administration said it would not move to cancel Temporary Protected Status for more than 170,000 Salvadorans, for now, preserving their ability to live and work legally in the U.S. as the protection was set to expire. The Department of Homeland Security said an announcement would come "at the appropriate time," without further detail. The decision contrasts with the administration's handling of roughly 350,000 Haitians whose protections expired in July, hundreds of whom have since been deported. Advocates say many Salvadoran TPS holders have lived in the U.S. for decades, while regional experts point to Salvadoran President Nayib Bukele's cooperation with the administration's deportation efforts as a possible factor in the more cautious approach. The administration has already ended TPS for 13 of the 17 countries it once covered. More at The New York Times
