Hailey and Michael Albanese, along with their 3 month old daughter Darcy, just closed on their very first home! I even had the honor of holding Darcy during the paperwork so Mom and Dad could sign with free hands. She slept peacefully through it all… probably because she is not the one making mortgage payments for the next 30 years.🤣

Jokes aside, I truly have the BEST job in the world.

📢 It’s Property Tax Season, Texas! Don’t Overpay!

Did you know you have the right to protest your property tax appraisal? Many homeowners don’t realize they could be paying more than they should.

According to the Texas Real Estate Research Center, your appraisal might not reflect your home’s true market value—and that could mean higher taxes.

Here’s what you need to know:
✔️ You can file a protest if you think your home is overvalued
✔️ The deadline is typically May 15 (or 30 days after your notice)
✔️ You can protest based on market value OR unequal appraisal compared to similar homes
✔️ Supporting evidence (photos, comps, repairs needed) can strengthen your case

This man right here came to my rescue today. As I was coming into town my low tire indicator came on. My tire was quickly going flat but I had an appointment at my office at 8:30 and I couldn’t be late. I passed the cemetery with 10 lbs air pressure and turned at the light with 2 lbs of air pressure. I made it to my office without ruining the tire. Alonzo Jimenez drove by and saw my flat tire. He offered on his next break to fill up his air tank and bring me air for my tire. He took care of me and I got my truck to Hamricks automotive to get repaired. Alonzo is such a good person. He is kind and fair to everyone. He has a great sense of humor as well. Alonzo does lawn care and his price is fair and he is very reliable. Give him a call if you need a good yard man! (325) 205-2000
