I am proud of my superb co-counsel Paula Canny and Randall Knox for putting together a spectacular complaint and achieving a quick settlement against the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office for using a system that allowed deputies to read communications between inmates and their attorneys in violation of the attorney client privilege and impacting their First Amendment rights. I also applaud the San Jose Mercury News for picking up the story and shining a light on this unconstitutional practice.

Our law office just filed a claim against the City and County of San Francisco District Attorney's office for its handling of a multi-felon who was released 5 times after being arrested. This result in him being free to steal a car and race through SF Streets killing 27 year old Hanako Abe while she crossed the street. Our office represents her parents who seek policy changes on how such criminals are handled by the DAs office.

Outside of having to effectively home school three of our children during the current health crisis, Lori Jabagchourian has gone about trying to gather health supplies for local hospitals in very resourceful ways. CNN has picked up the story. The photo is not of her, but of one of the ladies who donated supplies of masks and gloves from her salon.

This weekend marked the first time many Americans found themselves having to stay indoors after lawmakers urged social distancing to help prevent spreading the coronavirus.
