Peter Nelson was born in Seattle , Washington , and attended the University of Washington where he received his bachelors of art in French. After receiving his degree, he went directly into law school under scholarship at California Western School of Law in San Diego, was on Law Review, and completed his studies one year early under an accelerated program. Part of his law studies were finished in
Paris in an international law program. He passed the California State Bar the first time and was admitted to practice law at the age of 24. In 1993 he then went on to pass the Washington State Bar. He started out as an entertainment lawyer in Beverly Hills, and also worked in immigration law, criminal and civil law, bankruptcy, and workers’ compensation. In 1996 he founded his personal injury practice, following in the footsteps of his father and his two brothers, all three of whom are also lawyers. Nelson’s practice specializes in personal injury, with a focus on auto accidents.
