As we welcome the Year of the Horse, we celebrate the qualities it represents: strength, resilience, determination, and the courage to move forward with purpose.
These same qualities reflect the journey of immigrants everywhere. Building a new life in a new country takes perseverance, hope, courage, strength, and an unwavering belief in better opportunities ahead. Like the Horse, immigrants embody endurance and the drive to overcome obstacles in pursuit of their dreams.
This Lunar New Year, we honor the contributions, sacrifices, and successes of immigrant families in our communities. May the Year of the Horse bring renewed energy, prosperity, and new beginnings to you and your loved ones.
Gong Xi Fa Cai! 恭喜發財。Wishing you health, happiness, and continued success in the year ahead.

If you have filed your N-400 application for naturalization (citizenship) and your green card is expiring, and the N-400 is pending and not yet adjudicated, your green card is automatically extended for 24 months, when the expired green card is presented along with the N-400 original notice.
Your N-400 receipt notice should have this language in the body (see photo).

Freedom is a right everyone deserves to have. But, inequality still exists in America today. Many of you have the day off from your your jobs, in observance of Juneteenth. Make it an intentional day of recognition of the formal dissolution of slavery in our country.
And thank you to those who continue to persist and advocate for equality.

Adjustment of status (I-485) interviews are mostly waived now. If you are an employment based adjustment of status applicant or will be filing one, make sure it is ready for approval so no time is wasted for any RFEs. Common issues we see with delays with Employment Based Adjustment of status (I-485) applications are missing documents when the applicant has a criminal record and missing declaration when the applicant has membership in a communist party (even though the membership might have ben compulsory, such as in China). We have expertise in these areas of potential inadmissibility. Call us for a phone review/consultation of your eligibility: 408-740-3474.
