And another sad one. . . patient messaged his doctor sharing that he had bad stabbing chest pain when exercising. He was at high risk for a heart attack due to his age, weight, high blood pressure, bad cholesterol etc. Guess what his doctor messaged back. . . "exercise more". Oh my. Poor guy dropped 3 dqys later and died from a heart attack. Close and loving family was devastated. Doctor had to pay $1,500,000 for this carelessness. Sad.

We've been busy. We had a recent win of over $15,000,000 in a medical malpractice case where the doctor was stunningly and completely deaf to the complaints of a young mother who had every single sign of impending heart failure. Visit after visit after visit the mother kept telling the doctor about all of her heart failure problems. And then she kept saying she was getting worse and worse. He just didn't listen. He said he was "busy". . . Finally, on her last visit, the poor woman collapsed. Why? Her heart finally gave out. That left her permanently comatose for life. She has a family with a husband and young children that was wrecked. We held them accountable for well over the $15,000,000 in damage they caused. With that money at least now she gets first rate care for life. She is still in a coma but at least she will be cared for around the clock. So terrible. . .As a community, we all deserve better.

And another victory for a great client. We won a case against a public entity - bus ran a red light and hit a 15 year old in the crosswalk. The minor experienced memory loss and decreased attention span. A minor traumatic brain injury was diagnosed. Using valuable pre-trial and trial skills I learned over the Pandemic from Trial Lawyers University, we were able to recover $5.75M for the young man to provide him with a cushion for his education and vocational training going forward. This will give him a secure life . Stand by for another million dollar case we won last week
