Our client was assaulted by a drunk patron while waiting for an uber on the sidewalk outside of a bar. He was knocked unconscious and admitted to the hospital for his injuries. The police were never able to identify his attacker and he didn’t know where to turn. Then, The Quigley Law Firm, APC and Halimi Law Firm got involved and aggressively litigated against the bar for inadequate security, ultimately securing a fantastic result for a deserving client.

Prior results from attorneys do not guarantee future results, as each case is different.

Tactics matter. Defendants' law firm recently disregarded a $750,000.00 lawsuit filed by a client -- assuming that the client did not have the funds to pursue the lawsuit. In response, Halimi Law filed a costly, time-consuming motion just to recover due, mid-litigation costs of $260 with no charge to the client. The message is clear: principle defeats net-benefit in this action and the client, with Halimi Law Firm, are all-in: the Defendants will pay - one way or the other.

This case began as a dispute over a $2,800.00 security deposit that a landlord refused to return. Refusing reasonable settlement offers, the landlord took the case to trial. The landlord lost and the Court ordered the landlord to pay 3 times the security deposit and the tenants' attorney's fees and costs: $48,086.52. The Landlord appealed. Once again, the landlord lost, entitling the tenants to additional attorneys' fees on appeal.

Just today:

-one successful mediation, reducing a $1.25 million demand to a $10,000 settlement while reserving the client’s right to recoup the settlement amount from the insurance carrier for bad faith;

-one judgment for cancellation of instruments and quiet title, freeing client’s title to his home from a fraudulently-recorded deed of trust, recorded by defendants who sought to take advantage of struggling homeowners during the 2008 housing crisis;

-one pre-litigation settlement, agreeing to reimburse clients for 100% of their damages.
