Today, I want to remember Katherine Torbick, not for how her life ended, but for the perspective she shared while she was alive.
Years ago, Katherine and I exchanged messages and hours of conversation about events involving the 2023 data breach and what she personally witnessed while working in the plastic surgery field. Those conversations have stayed with me because they documented her perspective at that time.
In the coming weeks and months, I will be reviewing those archived communications alongside transcripts, court records, and other documentary evidence where available. My goal is not to sensationalize, but to examine the historical record carefully and responsibly.
When I share excerpts, they will be presented in context, with dates and supporting documentation whenever possible, so readers can distinguish between Katherine’s firsthand account, independently verified records, and issues that remain unresolved till now.
Katherine is no longer here to speak for herself or provide additional context. For that reason, I believe it is especially important to present her words accurately, fairly, and with respect.
May Katherine rest in peace. My thoughts are also with her family and loved ones. I sincerely hope they are given the privacy and space to grieve their tremendous loss.
The mission of Nipped, Tucked & Screwed is to promote transparency, accountability, and informed discussion through documented evidence, allowing the record to speak for itself.
