My parents emigrated from South Korea to start a family in the US. My dad owned different businesses and saved up enough money to buy a home when I was a kid. When I was in junior high, we lost that home after his business went under. Despite the hardships, I remember how proud my parents were when I got into law school and focused on trial advocacy. For every single trial that I’ve been in, my mom has sat there and prayed for me and my clients every time. I’ve tried 50+ cases to date and she’s prayed for me during every trial.

It was always my dream to be able to buy my parents a home one day. Thank you to my wife Britt who helped me design the entire home and forego our other plans so that we could get this home for my parents 😍 Thank you to my brother who cheered me on and bought dad a big screen tv & entertainment center💥 Thank you to my law partners Adam and Michael for working crazy hours to build HHJ Trial Attorneys, letting me pursue my crazy dreams & cases, and immediately purchasing a dining room set/rug when they noticed my parents didn’t have one 😍 And, thank you to all the people at my firm like David Hatfield, Shelby Cardoza and all my other team members that work every damn day to get justice for our clients and always push to elevate the people in our families and our communities. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays guys!

We are happy to report that we brought in around 7.5 million for 3 clients this summer. They would be looking at splitting a total settlement of around $180,000 if they took the initial insurance offers.

Most of our cases settle quickly but we will go after them if they choose to be unreasonable.

“Elliott, stop convincing the news to cover your running stories.” Says partner, Michael Hernandez.

San Diego ABC News covers our Miles for our Maui race. We are still looking for sponsors that are willing to pledge money for each racer to support the victims of Maui. The top runner is already over 100 miles. Email [email protected] with the subject line “Miles for Maui Sponsor” if you want to support! 🙏🏻 🙏🏻 🙏🏻

HHJ Trial Attorneys proudly introduces Miles for Maui 100 Miler. We know that it has been incredibly difficult for the families in Maui due to the recent fires. Many families were displaced and the people of Lahaina have many challenges ahead. We want to continue to support these people by raising money. Each person registered for the race will need to find a sponsor/sponsors to pledge a certain dollar amount for each mile ran by the racer. The goal is for each racer to run 100 miles but people are free to run more or less miles from October 1st to October 30th. 100% of the proceeds will be donated to buy Christmas gifts for the children of Maui. Each racer will have to self-report their mileage each day, so that all the contestants will be able to view the race standings. The top 3 finishers with the most mileage on October 30th will receive a prize from HHJ that will be announced after the end of the race. Each person that registers will receive a Miles for Maui 100 Miler T-Shirt. Please email [email protected] to register. Registration is free.

⚡️Verdict Alert⚡️ Two decades ago, our client was sexually abused by her coach when she was a minor. Our client bravely came forward and asked for help. After years of litigation without any offers to settle, Partner Adam Hepburn secured a $2,250,000.00 settlement on behalf of our client.

What a crazy 5 years. We started this firm with 3 of us working out of 2 offices. We rock paper sizzered to see who got their own office. From the beginning, our friends would call us sounding all excited because their family member was injured in an accident. We took this seriously and negotiated every case as if we were negotiating years of our clients life (we were all criminal defense attorneys). We also had firms out there that gave us a chance and let us litigate and try their cases.

We are sitting here with nothing but gratitude. We have a dozen staff members that run the show and make sure every client is taken care of. We are working on opening our 5th office and just added another employee. We are taking on bigger cases and getting larger verdicts.

We know that HHJ Trial Attorneys is what it is today because of all of our friends that constantly support us. What a ride. Thank you. 🙏
