This is a tragic story of a negligent 7-11 franchise owner who has a history of hiring staff with violent criminal backgrounds. Our client suffered an assault by 7-11 clerks outside the store. Thankfully, a neighboring business recorded the assault on its security camera. Kelly Law secured a policy-limit settlement of $1,000,000 without filing a civil lawsuit.

Over one year ago, a motorcycle police officer conducted a routine traffic stop. Unbeknownst to him, the individual he stopped was a convicted violent felon. The driver immediately reversed the car and intentionally tried to run the officer over before fleeing the scene. The aftermath is shown in the first photo.

Miraculously, the officer only suffered moderate injuries.The driver was later arrested by SWAT officers shown in the second photo, and is being charged with the attempted murder of an officer.

Kelly Law obtained the maximum insurance policy limits through the officer’s auto policy. It was an honor representing this local hero who risks his life everyday.
