🚨CASE DISMISSED‼️
Client WAS charged with felon in possession of a firearm. Only offer from the DA was 2 years state prison. Client was stopped for a busted tail light. Officers then saw half a blunt in a jar in the cup holder and took him out of the car.
Officers then began to search the vehicle, improperly believing they did not need consent because of his previous record and seeing the blunt.
Today the Judge did the right thing and agreed to suppress the gun due to the illegal search. Case dismissed!
