My top 3 things about this mid-century home in Kensington, San Diego… and yes, I had to sneak in an honorable mention.

4484 Marlborough is a 2 bedroom, 1 bath home with some of the original character that makes Kensington homes so good.

First, the original hardwood floors. You just can’t recreate that kind of character.

Second, the kitchen. It’s updated, it’s great for entertaining, and I love how it flows into the rest of the house so you’re not stuck in the kitchen while everyone else is having fun.

Third, the detached garage and flex space. Office? Gym? Studio? Creative space? You decide.

And honorable mention goes to the backyard with turf and a spacious patio.

If I had to pick just three things I love about this Fairbanks Ranch home, these would be it.

First, the beautiful formal living room that greets you the second you walk through the door. It’s bright, dramatic and gives you an immediate sense of just how special this house is.

Second, that kitchen. It’s huge, with tons of counter space and plenty of room when you’re cooking or entertaining a crowd.

And number three? The backyard. Pool, koi pond, room to entertain and open space behind you that gives the property an incredible amount of privacy.

And remember, this is all part of a 6 bedroom, 6.5 bathroom home with nearly 6,700 square feet in Fairbanks Ranch.
