Why Does is it soooo expensive to sell a house, and does is have to be? Well, not entirely. There are many factors that go into it but know there are no set commissions so every agent is free to charge as they wish. Every home and every homeowner is different as well, so for me if I see a smooth transaction ahead I don't have to charge as much as I would if I thought...say "this homeowner is going to be a difficult one to deal with" those ones I charge a lot:)

What is the biggest misconception and cause for a majority of the problems during a real estate transaction? It can come from either or both sides of the transaction and many agents don't even realize they are doing their clients a disservice by perpetuating it.
