I was born at night but I wasn't born last night.
Got an email from Apple to verify my identity as someone tried logging into my account from an unusual location. All seems legit as you brush read through email, but what we know, is most fraud is out of country. So lets slow this down a bit.
From: Apple
To: [email protected] & Myself hmmm... Making it seem as if Apple was apart of this but it's being SENT
to support@apple NOT legitimate address for APPLE INC. In addition, I don't even use this email for Apple. (yes, that is one of my email addresses, don't judge me.)
Apple symbol looks a bit blurry.
Case number? Why would I need that? No case has been open, this is just a precaution protocol.
Why would I need to reset my password? I have yet to make a claim.
Key words from someone non fluent speaking and grammatically incorrect. "you do not usually use" "we just make sure that is you" "IF" I access my account now "may be" I will get notification. "for protected your account always safety" makes no sense.
These frauds always make you feel everything is OK, so "Do not worry, BECAUSE
it is only temporary"
Don't worry? I have a locked account, 24 hours, with a case number already
but I shouldn't worry???
"Thanks" at least give me a more professional (Thank you)
"Cuportino CA" Now I know that's not how you spell Cupertino, CA because that has been my default
weather city on every Iphone I have owned.
Let's click on who this email is from. Oh, it's from someone named Apple with a disturbing address.
These frauds are good BUT... I'm better!
P.S. I was actually born at 12:57 pm but they don't have to know that. (correct me if I'm wrong, mom
or Dr. Argoud)
Make it a GREAT day!
