California Legislative Assembly Bill No. 156 (AB-156)[1] defines voice writing “… as a verbatim record of a proceeding using a closed microphone voice dictation silencer, steno mask, or similar device using oral shorthand and voice notes made by a Certified Shorthand Reporter.”
