“I could not see the chain.” Our client was holding an unopened bottle of wine in his hand and crossing a dark alley on his way to a family dinner when he tripped and fell over an ankle-height chain. The bottle broke in his hand, and glass cut through to his nerves and tendons. The property owner that had set up the trip wire in the dark alley knew our client was NOT the first one injured over the ankle height chain, but left it up anyway. The property owner denied any responsibility, covered up the evidence and denied any knowledge of this incident. We pursued the case and uncovered the real facts. We proved the defendants knew about the dangerous condition and that the danger was foreseeable. At the end justice was served and the property was made safer for the public.
