A dozen years ago, I bet on myself. 🙏 It was not an easy path, or a path I had ever thought about when I was a kid. It was also the best gift I ever gave myself! 🥰 As scary as it was, there were so many friends and colleagues, even strangers who were there for me. Most importantly, I had my family who supported my newly found dream of starting my own law office. 🤗 In the last 12 years, I am grateful for the amazing opportunities I have had to help clients, to be entrusted with leadership roles within the legal community, and for the opportunity to grow as an attorney and as a person. ♥️
On this day, when I think of all these wonderful moments, I am reminded that there are many people who have served this country, fought for our freedoms, and protected our Constitution. 🙌🏽 While our country is going through a rough patch, it is important to remember who we are, why we do the things we do, and how we got here - so we can create the more perfect union. 🇺🇸
