Patrick is an experienced Civil Litigation Attorney who has focused his practice defending developers, manufacturers, contractors, design professionals, home owners associations and their insurers in construction defect lawsuits; manufacturers in products liability/personal injury matters; and representing commercial businesses. He attended California Western School of Law in San Diego and has been in practice since 2012.

Full-Time Calendar/Docket Clerk/Entry Level Paralegal Job Opening

Immediate position open for a Full-Time Calendar/Docket Clerk/Entry Level Paralegal who will primarily be responsible for all of the Firm’s calendaring relative to State and Federal Court deadlines, Discovery, Law and Motion, Pre-Trial and Trial related dates. As a Calendar/Docket Clerk, the primary job will be to first learn, master and eventually assume all of the Firm’s calendaring. We will provide you with training materials and resources necessary to successfully perform this position. Additional job duties will include providing support to multiple attorneys and staff, including backing up the Reception desk and assist with answering the telephones.

Eventually, other tasks will be layered in once the candidate has fully mastered the calendaring to include Entry Level Paralegal tasks such as preparing and/or editing legal correspondence, pleadings, discovery, summarizing depositions and discovery, drafting pleadings, subpoenaing business records and trial preparation.

This position requires an ABA accredited Paralegal Certificate. Candidate must possess strong communication skills (oral and written), the ability to exercise discretion and confidentiality regarding sensitive Firm information, excellent organizational skills with the ability to think proactively and prioritize work and most critically, must pay attention to detail. Competitive starting salary at $21.00 per hour to $23.00 per hour and benefits package included with medical insurance, 401k Plan, Flexible Benefits Plan, paid holidays and paid time off.
