📢⚠️ PSA: SB 71 - an assault on California's Lemon Law. SB 71 seeks to raise the limit from $25k to $35k for unlimited jurisdiction cases. This would severely restrict discovery in lemon law cases and make it difficult to prove your case against the car manufacturers, which is why they are among the biggest supporters of this bill. Pro-Consumer and Auto Safety Organizations are urging Gov. Newsom to veto this bill. Read more about it below.
