If you are pulling your hair out because you have adopted children with RAD (Reactive Attachment Disorder) and are having difficulties caring for those children, RAD Advocates and my firm (as to children in Texas) are here to help!

In some of these cases it is astonishing to see CPS attacking the parents for horrific conduct of the RAD children, but Texas law provides a mechanism to seek help. As an example, in an ongoing case the Department was adamant that a 14 year old boy needed to return to the parents care despite suicidal and homicidal ideations and including the child attempting to orchestrate the murder of another child in treatment. We forced the Department to take the child and convinced the Judge that the parents were not the problems - which led to the parents being named as joint managing conservators despite vehement objection from the Department. Now while under CPS care, the child has been arrested for assaulting a public official with a deadly weapon.

If you need legal help, contact me at [email protected] (text me at 512-986-9150 if it is absolutely urgent). I also recommend reaching out to Amy VanTine at RAD Advocates in Colorado (they advocate everywhere) because they have lived through this type of unfortunate situation.

Sometimes you just have to keep fighting for justice and despite the corruption that continues to play a role in various courts, prosecutorial agencies, and those appointed such as guardian ad litems and attorney ad litems.

Suzanne Wooten did the impossible and became the first candidate to defeat a sitting judge in Collin County. What followed is the unbelievable, epic tale of the craziest case in the history of jurisprudence.

While it's good to see that the Governor is speaking up and urging the Department of Family and Protective Services (aka CPS) to comply with the Court's orders, it is almost certainly because of the looming fines. The government does not and will not protect your children. If you have a case in Texas or Colorado, contact us for a free, 30-minute consultation at [email protected].

The governor wrote a letter to the heads of two agencies, urging them to show proof they are complying with orders from a federal judge that protect children.

This country needs more judges like the Honorable Judge Janis Graham Jack. The only way CPS (DFPS) is going to make any changes is if the threats end and the collections begin. What would the taxpayers say to a $75k/day fine? You better believe that if the Department was a mother or a father that had violated the Court's order, they would already be in jail. If you have a CPS case in Texas or Colorado, call us for a free, 30-minute telephone consultation at [email protected].

“We must envision a world where families are safe not because we have threatened, punished, or policed them, but because we have built up communities, prioritized equitable distribution of material resources, and regarded families and neighbors as the first response to trauma.” Child Protective Services profits off of removing children from loving parents and adopting those children out to strangers. Do not try to fight the system alone. Your children's lives are at risk. If you have a case in Texas or Colorado, contact us today for a free, 30-minute telephone consultation at [email protected].

This is devastating. The Texas Department of Family and Protective Services deemed this boy's mother unfit to care for him because she was poor, and chose to place him in the care of two men that ultimately murdered him. What's worse is that the boy's mother took pictures of suspicious injuries on the boy prior to his death and notified her CPS caseworker, the caseworker's supervisor, and the boy's attorney ad litem that he was being abused. Obviously, they all ignored her. Shame on them. We pray this young boy is resting in peace in the arms of our Heavenly Father. The death of a 3-year-old Fort Worth boy who died Easter Sunday in state custody is being investigated as a murder, and his mother said she warned child welfare workers weeks ago that he was being physically abused. In a time of great uncertainty and hardship for so many, not being able to see your children and know that they are safe and healthy, makes these difficult circumstances unbearable for many parents battling CPS. The good news is that the Supreme Court of Texas and local jurisdictions have issued emergency, temporary, and standing orders to address court proceedings, deadlines, parenting classes, and visitation during the COVID-19 pandemic. If you need assistance fighting CPS, email [email protected] to request a free, 30-minute consultation.

Parents can’t see their children and social workers can’t make visits, leaving kids feeling more isolated and possibly putting them in danger.

Pardon our French, but this is bullsh!t on a stick and I am embarrassed of the Tarrant County judiciary. The rest of the judges took CPS cases away from Judge Kim because he actually administers justice. Vote out all the other judges who did this!!!
