It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Jack A. Efron, the founder of our law office and a cornerstone of the San Antonio legal community. Jack passed away peacefully on December 14, 2024, just shy of his 91st birthday, leaving behind an unparalleled legacy of excellence, professionalism, and service.
Jack was board-certified in three areas of law, an incredible achievement that reflected his dedication to mastery in his craft. Jack was admitted to practice law both in the great State of Texas, along with the
Texas Western District Court and the United States Supreme Court. Over his 65+ years in practice, he distinguished himself as a formidable trial lawyer and appellate advocate, earning respect and admiration from colleagues, clients, and the judiciary alike. Jack’s meticulous attention to detail and commitment to justice were hallmarks of his career, and his influence continues to shape our firm’s mission today.
Known as the “best-dressed man at the courthouse,” Jack’s impeccable style was as renowned as his legal expertise. But beyond his attire, he was admired for his gentlemanly demeanor, his collaborative spirit, and the unwavering care he extended to every client. He set a standard of excellence that we continue to strive for in every case we handle.
As the founder of our law firm, Jack instilled in us the values of hard work, compassion, and dedication to serving the community. It is our privilege to carry on his legacy by providing the same high standard of legal service that he embodied throughout his life.
