✨CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR CORD RECIPIENTS✨

We want to congratulate and thank this group of graduating 3Ls for their service to the San Antonio community.

Each of these students has met the requirements of the Pro Bono Honor Cords, having working at least 150 State Bar of Texas-eligible legal pro bono service hours over the last 3 years. The impact of this group is significant and will be felt throughout the community and the law school for years to come.

3Ls, congratulations and best of luck in your future endeavors! St. Mary’s Pro Bono will always have your back!

The Scholar is a mission-focused journal and strives to add new thoughts and perspectives about the impact of the law and hegemony on the lives and identities of marginalized groups. Their primary goal is to amplify the voices of those who would otherwise be voiceless.

This year, their theme is Due Process: The Principle vs The Practice. Following the theme, the Symposium will be focused on shining a light on social justice issues by furthering the understanding of what due process means and how it is applied in the lives of our community. This Symposium is hosted each spring with the intent to educate and enlighten our legal community about issues and developments within the industry.
