Another Estate Dispute Settled! Can't disclose amount but OC told me at the beginning of the case my client "wouldn't see a dime". A couple depos later and today they agreed to write her a big check! Cheers y'all! :)

Friendly reminder from Balmer Law Firm! Most of my friends know we do Estate Litigation since that is our focus, however, just a reminder that we handle Personal Injury and Death cases too. I got my start in Personal Injury out of law school 25 years ago and it has never left my practice. Only now that I concentrate on Estate Litigation, I am able to only take select catastrophic injury and death cases. As such, your case will get the attention and care that it deserves. This position will be assisting the CEO and lead attorney at the firm with daily tasks such as:
-Answering calls
-Making calls to clients to give case updates/obtain information regarding case
-Emailing clients, opposing counsel, court staff
-Editing pleadings and other legal documents
-E-filing
-Managing and organizing case files (both digital and paper files)
-Managing and coordinating calendar/maintaining deadlines and attorney schedule
-Scheduling hearings
-Administrative duties such as making copies, scanning documents, and filing
-Assisting with billing and invoicing

The legal assistant will be the first point of contact for all incoming calls and should have an excellent phone demeanor and communication skills. Must be detail oriented and organized. Experience with Microsoft office suite a plus.
