🎯 WE'RE HIRING — AND WE'RE SERIOUS ABOUT WHO JOINS OUR TEAM
At the Law Offices of Shann M. Chaudhry, we don't believe in cookie-cutter law. We believe in real people doing exceptional work without sacrificing their lives.

We're a boutique firm in San Antonio (with remote options) specializing in Business, Estates & Trusts, and Real Estate law. We're not just looking to fill seats—we're looking for A-players who want to practice law the way it should be: with excellence, authenticity, and actual work-life balance.

HERE'S WHAT'S OPEN:
1) Lead Litigator / Trial Attorney (Potentially Remote)
First-chair trial experience required. Practice area flexible. Here's the deal: lower billable hour requirements than most firms, revenue sharing after base, origination bonuses, and real benefits. Starting Range: $150K–$185K. You'll actually have a life outside the office.

2) Part-Time/Contract Estate Planning Attorney (Potentially Remote)
10–20 hours weekly. You need real experience with trusts (RLT, ILIT, DAPT). Compensation is variable, benefits available. Perfect for attorneys who want flexibility without sacrificing impact.

3) Estate & Business Planning Paralegal
Client-facing role. You're organized, self-directing, communicate beautifully, and have estate planning experience. You'll own client relationships, manage trust funding, and help us deliver the "unreasonable hospitality" our clients deserve.

💰 REFERRING SOMEONE? WE PAY*:
$5,000 referral fee for the litigator hire ($1K after 1st week completed by hire, $4K after 90 days completed)
$2,000 referral fee for the paralegal ($500 after 1st week completed by hire, $1.5K after 90 days completed)

*See Fine Print in Comments.

(Real talk: You can't collect these for yourself—but if you know someone perfect, send them our way and we'll take care of you.)

🔍 Attention CPAs, Engineers, Physicians & High Achievers: Why your DIY approach might fail your family 🔍

As an estate planning attorney with 17+ years of experience, I've noticed something interesting: the most capable professionals often struggle most with effective estate planning.

Why? Because the skills that make you exceptional in your career—attention to detail, analytical thinking, self-reliance—can actually work against you when planning for a future where you're not present.

🧠 Here's the reality: Your estate plan isn't for YOU. It's for the people implementing your wishes when you can't.

Consider this scenario I've seen countless times:
A family brings in a perfectly crafted trust after their loved one passes away...only to discover it was never properly funded.

The probate process they tried to avoid becomes inevitable.

💡 At the Law Offices of Shann M. Chaudhry, we've developed a system specifically for professionals like you:

Document creation tailored to your unique situation
Implementation support to ensure proper funding
Ongoing maintenance through our Client Care Program

Because even the most brilliant minds need systems that function without them.

Read our latest blog to learn more about creating protection that transcends your skills.

📝 PREPARING FOR LITIGATION: THE FINANCIAL CONVERSATION NO ONE WANTS TO HAVE 📝

Trial is the Super Bowl of litigation—and like any major event, it requires intense preparation and significant resources.
That's where trial retainers come in.

In our latest article, we explain why these retainers (typically due 90 days before trial) are essential for your attorney to provide the zealous representation you deserve.

Most importantly, we explain why this conversation should happen at the BEGINNING of your attorney-client relationship—not as a surprise when trial is approaching.

Moving in together? Don't overlook this critical legal step.
When couples share homes without marriage in Texas, they enter a legal gray area that can have unexpected consequences.
We've seen it repeatedly in our practice—what begins as a simple living arrangement becomes legally complex when:

Medical debts appear
Property ownership is questioned
Family members make claims
Separation becomes necessary

Our latest article explains why a Non-Marital Cohabitation Agreement serves as the invisible architecture supporting your shared life, and how it creates clarity when you need it most.
Like insurance, it's protection you hope never to need—but will be profoundly grateful to have if circumstances require it.
Learn more about how these agreements work specifically under Texas law at the link below.
