My honest opinion on VA buyers using new construction right now.

New construction can be a great move for VA buyers in San Antonio, but it isn't automatic. Here's how I actually think about it:

→ The good: $0 down still works, newer communities near the bases, and you're not competing with 10 other offers
→ The catch: the builder's lender and "incentives" aren't always the best deal for you
→ The move: bring your own agent, compare the VA terms, and don't let a delayed build put your earnest money at risk

New construction is a tool. Used right, it's one of the best ones a VA buyer has.
