My response to all who have lost your minds at the conviction of a Former President:
Let me take the restoration as a practicing Constitutional Attorney before you drink the Kool Aide:
First, and foremost, I am not pro-Trump or pro-Biden but a constitutionalist.
This was indeed politically motivated from the start and underpinned under a District Attorney who ran and was elected under dubious reasons.
It has a precedent that will have unprecedented repercussions which undermines the integrity of the judiciary… a branch of government that is to remain unbiased.
Second. his conviction is not settled as a mater of law or at the trial court level…there exists the right of appeal and that right exists for everyone…you and him; no one is guilty without the right of appeal. That is his individual right; not a political motivated right, but a right protected under the Constitution and State Constitutions under the Thirteenth Amendment of the Constitution to the States…even New York.
Third, I sue an overzealous government under the very Bill of Rights that you guys now want to shun…no person is without due process! Been on National television on liberal and conservative outlets. Been asked by our government to be a Federal Judge. A dignity of my record as a jurist protecting your constitutional rights.
We all should strive for justice not a news pundit’s version of the law…less is shameful and erosion of our most scared inalienable rights protected under the blood and tears of our constitutional forefathers and all who has protected it ever since.
Let us remember the starting words before proceedings start in the U.S. Supreme Court: “Oyez! All persons having business before the Honorable, the Supreme Court of the United States, are admonished to draw near and give their attention, for the Court is now sitting. God save the United States and this Honorable Court!” Prior to hearing oral argument, other business of the Court is transacted.”
Let our courts be free to transact justice…and not tyranny; let our Constitution be sacrosanct from political motivations!
I today take a stand, with my liberty, my law license and my life. In my adopted State of Texas “Come take it” From a veteran who had his blood shed protecting your liberties and the jurist protecting your individual liberties.
