Dilley / Pearsall Immigration Court.
A court where denial rates can exceed 95%.

I was retained in late October and spent hours preparing this case.
Line-by-line review of the I-589, strengthening the affidavit, preparing testimony, and building corroboration.

During the hearing, the judge noted she had rarely seen an asylum application this complete.

Asylum GRANTED.

Because in immigration court credibility and corroboration are everything.

We are also seeing U.S. citizen petitioners pressured to withdraw petitions, leaving beneficiaries without a path to adjust and pushing cases into EOIR removal proceedings.

USCIS PAUSE EXPLAINED

USCIS has paused some adjudications under Policy Manual PM-602-0194, effective January 1, 2026.

This is not a denial.
Officers are holding certain decisions while policy guidance is reviewed.

What this means:
• Pending cases may take longer
• RFEs and notices can still be issued
• Approved cases are not affected

Silence from USCIS right now is procedural, not personal.
