Trial work matters. In just the first few months of this year, Blackley & Wingad attorneys have already handled multiple trials involving criminal defense, juvenile matters, parental rights, and civil litigation.
One recent case involved a client charged with unlawful detention after preventing another person from removing jointly owned property while waiting for law enforcement assistance. The client had previously been convicted, but was granted a new trial. After retrial, the jury returned a not guilty verdict in approximately 45 minutes.
Cases involving self-defense, property rights, and justified force are often more legally complex than they initially appear. Trial preparation, factual analysis, and strategic advocacy can make a significant difference in the outcome.
