Hi all! Added a video to Mr. Barrera's segment. I wish I had taken the video that I just added a little later, it was so full in the restaurant that I had to stand outside. 😲🥰 Also made a couple of other tweaks as well. ❤️ 💕 Thank you again to all of our wonderful retirees. Thank you to Richard Barrera for taking the time to come and speak to us about issues that we care about and we wish you good luck in the election! It was wonderful to celebrate so many excellent educators who will be retiring as well as celebrating the end of the school year! We hope you had a great time at the party and are excited to see you again next year!

WE DID THIS! Thousands of CTA members shared their story, signed petitions, showed up to the Capitol to fight for pregnancy leave - and now our sponsored legislation alongside Assemblymember Aguiar Curry (who has been with us from the beginning!) is now in the May Revise. 14 weeks of paid pregnancy leave will be transformational for California educators and families.
