This August has been a good one! 🍹

Our team had a great time attending an after-hours evening of cocktails and mocktails at the Gilbert House. Huge thanks to Stephanie Palmblad for helping bring it all together, and to Rob Has The Keys for donating his time and talent for this great team-building auction package we picked up at Gilbert House Children's Museum's Discover the Wonder Event.

We're proud to support Gilbert House as the Presenting Sponsor of Discover the Wonder coming up again this December 5th. We're lucky to partner with such a great organization.

This August, in Chicago, Stephanie wrapped up her four-year term serving in the American Bar Association House of Delegates.

Stephanie had opportunity to connect with attorneys from around the country and world, explore and debate emerging legal issues, and vote on those issues as one of the delegates elected by Oregon attorneys to represent our state at the national level.

Professional development is often focused on continually improving how we serve our clients, but sometimes it includes service as part of the national legal community working hard to protect the rule of law (which means no one is above the law, and no one is below the law's protection).

We're glad to have Stephanie back to put her insights into practice.

For the past few weeks, our attorneys, Stephanie Palmblad, Mayra A. Gonzalez, and Emily Palmer teamed up with local professionals, including Rebecca Kueny, Danae Johnson, Morgan Sund, and others to golf in the University Club of Salem's annual Tournament at Salem Golf Club.

They enjoyed some great days on the course, competing alongside other teams while connecting with fellow professionals from across the Salem community.

Thank you to all the people (and deer) who helped make this year's tournament such a fun and memorable event.

What a BERRY fantastic night! 🍓⚾

Our team and their families had a great time cheering on the Marion Berries as they took on the Walla Walla Sweets at Chemeketa Stadium. Between the great food, lots of laughs, and exciting baseball, it was a night to remember.

Thanks, Marion Berries Baseball Club for a fun evening! We can't wait to come back next year.

It was a great evening spent connecting with fellow professionals and celebrating the incredible women making an impact in our community. We're grateful for opportunities like these that strengthen our connections outside the legal profession.

Our office will be closed Friday, June 19th, in observance of Juneteenth.
Check out Willamette Heritage Center's Community History Walk to learn about families from our own community whose lives were impacted by slavery and emancipation. 2026 features William Johnson and Elizabeth Walker, married in Marion County in 1857, who lived in downtown Salem.

Our team is passionate about learning, and we love having this resource in our community to help us all learn and grow each year.
