⚖️ TV LAWYERS VS. REAL LIFE LAWYERS 📺

We hate to ruin a good legal drama, but… most of the attorneys on Suits would probably be disbarred in real life. 😂

And those lightning-fast courtroom timelines? Let’s just say Hollywood takes a LOT of creative liberties.

Vanessa breaks down what TV gets wrong about practicing law and why real-life cases don’t wrap up in 42 minutes.

What’s your favorite legal drama? And should we fact-check another one? 👀

This is what it’s all about. ⚖️❤️

After a hard-fought federal jury trial that ended in a NOT GUILTY verdict, receiving words like these from a client means everything.

Every case represents a real person whose future, freedom and family can be profoundly affected by the outcome. We’re incredibly grateful when clients trust us to stand beside them and fight for them when the stakes are high.

Thank you for taking the time to share this. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

NOT GUILTY. ⚖️

After a hard-fought federal jury trial and more than four hours of deliberations, we secured a NOT GUILTY verdict in a drug conspiracy case.

The Government presented evidence involving multiple individuals, surveillance, phone calls, GPS data and controlled substances. But after days of testimony, the evidence involving our client centered largely on a single brief phone call and her association with others involved.

The defense position was simple:
A conspiracy NEAR her was not a conspiracy WITH her.

The jury agreed.

There are few moments more meaningful for a criminal defense attorney than standing beside a client as she hears the words NOT GUILTY and realizes she is going home to her kids.

This is why we try cases. ⚖️

THE FINALE. 👀⚖️🔮

For the past week, we’ve been handing Vanessa completely random pieces of “evidence” with absolutely no context and asking her to tell us what it could mean from both the prosecution and criminal defense perspectives.

No predetermined story. No right answer. Just evidence, speculation and an attorney showing us how the exact same information can lead to very different arguments.

And we definitely saved the most interesting pieces for last. 😂🔮 Betcha didn’t know Vanessa moonlights as a tarot reader.

A huge thank you to everyone who followed along, shared your thoughts and watched this unfold with us! Now that you’ve seen everything: Did your theory change as new evidence was introduced? Did anything surprise you? And most importantly… should we do another round? 👀

PART 3: THE MATCHBOOK + RECEIPT 🔥🧾⚖️

The evidence keeps piling up… and so do the possibilities. 👀

Vanessa still has absolutely no context — just two more random pieces of “evidence” and her attorney brain. What could a restaurant matchbook and receipt potentially tell us? Think about it from the prosecution side and the defense side.

At this point, has a theory started forming in your head? And has it changed since the phone and car key?

One more round of evidence to go… and we saved the most interesting pieces for last. Our finale is coming soon🔮👀

While Vanessa argues in a REAL trial this week, our completely made-up case continues… ⚖️

PART 2: THE CAR KEY 🔑

Same experiment. New piece of evidence. Vanessa was handed a collection of random objects with absolutely no context. This time, she’s examining a car key and exploring what it could tell us.

Did the key change your theory, or raise even more questions? 👀

Next up: the matchbook and restaurant receipt.

What story does the evidence tell? ⚖️

Vanessa was handed a collection of completely random “evidence” with zero context and asked to analyze what each piece could mean in a real case. First up: the phone. 📱

What’s your theory so far — and what do you think she’ll make of the car key next? 🔑
