So we get a phone call from a woman in Maine. She says her grandma has a floppy hat her uncle brought her from a Boston game maybe 20 years ago. It is so worn it’s falling apart. They’ve been searching thrift stores and online to find a replacement. Others don’t fit the same as “Dickie’s hat”. She called the # on the hat- which we no longer have- then googled us to find our number. Lisa Johni tells her that was a Rays game giveaway we sponsored in the early 2000’s. We have two, and when Lisa offered to send her one we could hear grandma in the background overjoyed. I am told there’s some Maine 🍁 syrup coming our way!
