Congratulations to our client who was granted asylum a few days ago by an immigration judge at the Fort Snelling, MN immigration court. Morgan Twamley tried the case, and Jesse Colnes our legal assistant helped prepare the exhibits - both did an awesome job - to such an extent that DHS waived appeal. Very happy client who has well deserved finality. Onwards!

Client released from ICE custody today after a long road of litigation and will go home happily to his mama - proud of my team that worked hard on this case - we got a grant of relief under the convention against torture from an immigration judge months ago, and the government appealed but recently we won the appeal at the board of immigration appeals - happy that our client is free!

Two grants of relief from removal for clients detained by ICE in two weeks thanks to the work of Matthew Mockenhaupt - Associate Attorney at Ojala-Barbour Law Firm. The immigration judge today, while granting cancellation of removal, told our client that her attorneys had done a great job preparing her case. Thanks Judge! Good job Matt!

The StarTribune called us to talk about something beautiful - President Biden's bold and much needed proposal for immigration legislation. The paper quoted Graham on the plan: "I think DACA is a beautiful thing and I support it. … I'm glad that Biden's plan goes beyond that to also include the 11 million undocumented people who don't qualify for DACA," said Ojala-Barbour."

The president acted to preserve DACA and reverse the travel ban from Muslim-majority countries.
