Naomi Yang is the founder and Owner of Native Hmong Interpreter, LLC. As a first generation Hmong-American and speaks in my native Hmong language as English is my second language. Since 2002, I obtained and is currently a MN Judicial State Rostered HMONG court interpreter throughout the courts of Minnesota and continues to expand across the United States specializing in the litigation spectrum rendering professional legal court interpreting/translation.
I graduated with my Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from Metorpolitian State University of Minnesota in 2021. In additionally, Iβve obtained my ACTFL Oral proficiency interview exam rated as SUPERIOR and continue to further my education in the ligation forums as set fourth by the National Center for State Courts.
Expanding my services into the public schools as a Hmong Cultural Liaison for the past five years, Iβve attained another height of wisdoms in the Equity Inclusion with special services interchanging in departments of Multi Language division. Where I render my interpreting/translation in academics activities such as schools conferences, truancy, child protections, social services and individual education plan.
Prior Iβve worked as a Foreign Interpreter 1 for the Ramsey County Juvenile Department as a Hmong Interpreter, domestics abuse, harassment hearing, ramsey county child protection, 72 hours holds, detention, pre sentence investigations, public defenders client service, ramsey county advocate department, family court, marriages, juvenile expungement, juvenile traffic, adoption, drug court, termination of parental rights, emancipation of a minor, etc.
Chair of a non-profit Hmong leaders committee; empowering youth leaders in the Hmong community toward academic progress.
