I heard Philando Castile's mother talking on the radio on Monday remembering her son and talking about her own journey. Among other things, she mentioned how her Twin Cities community struggles with home ownership and generational wealth. She said there is no generation wealth in her community. Let's work to change that. Please share this program information with anyone who might be interested!

- Receive up to $45,000 towards down payment and closing costs
- The first $20,000 is fully forgivable after 5 years
- Must be a first time homebuyer (defined as not have owned in the last 3 years, I believe)
- Must be born in the United States and self-identify as Black or African American
- The monies will sit at a 0% interest rate with no monthly payments
- Up to $10,000 can be used to pay off debts

🏡 Congratulations to Asa and Kendra on the sale of their home! Cool story, I helped them buy as first-time homebuyers at the end of 2021. We looked at a lot of homes and this one was by far the best! Just 4½ years later, when a new job brought them elsewhere, their home sold in multiples the first weekend with no inspection asks! Great job keeping the house well maintained. No staging needed due to Kendra's excellent taste in decor. Over 13% appreciation, not bad! 🙌
