Our office is representing the seller in a real estate transaction that presented significant chain of title issues. It appeared from the search that there was nothing of record to show that the seller owns the property, though the seller believes that she inherited the property from her father.
It was unclear how this could be resolved.
Kevin Murphy of Saturn Title, followed up to see if anything had been resolved. Kevin made a special trip to the Kane County Recorder’s office to investigate this matter personally and successfully figured out a way to insure title in the seller’s name. Once the legal description was ironed out with the surveyor, a title insurance commitment was issued and now, we will be able to close this transaction.
As he has so many times, Kevin Murphy came to the rescue. He went way above and beyond the call of duty as a title examiner, especially since our office is the only Saturn Title attorney agency in Kane County. Thank you so much, Kevin and thank you Saturn Title!
