So sad to hear of the passing of Justice Coleman. I worked at the Porzio during my early years before I was a NJ license attorney on Diet Drug “Phen-fen” cases. I remember him as approachable yet distinguished and a wealth of knowledge. May he rest in eternal peace.

Updated: Former New Jersey Supreme Court Justice James H. Coleman Jr. died at age 91 on Aug. 2, rising from his childhood in a home without electricity and running water to become the first Black justice appointed to the state supreme court.

I don’t post here on FB often but I want to thank everyone (friends, family, clients) for the texts, calls, “surprises” and love ❤️ on my birthday. Just returned from much needed vacation and feeling so thankful. It made this year a little more special as always! Can’t wait to celebrate the rest of these amazing summer days. 😘
